ABOUT PERSIANS PLUS, INC.     

“We’re a charitable organization based in the western suburbs of Philadelphia PA.  Our mission is to keep Persians, Maine Coons, Himalayans and other long-haired cats out of shelters and to place them in permanent, loving homes.  We foster in a network of homes and hold adoption events twice monthly at local pet stores.  Potential adopters complete and adoption application, and we try to match the right cat to the right home. 
    

We have adoptable cats of all ages from kittens to seniors in their golden years.  All are spayed or neutered, brought up to date on routine vaccinations, and tested for FIV/FeLV before being adopted.  We assess health and personality before adopting our kitties out, too, as we want to find the best fit in a forever home for them. 
    

Because we try to keep our adoption fees reasonable, they usually don’t cover our annual vet expenses.  Therefore we rely upon the kindness of our friends and supporters to keep the rescue going forward to save these beautiful cats.”
